Shot over a five year period, these occasional photo works portray and interpret the strangely obsessive world of the historical re-enactors and their flawed attempts to capture with accuracy centuries past and other ages (I am particularly interested in medieval recreations).

These resulting digital prints and tapestries delivery blur and confuse historical detail and factual events, purposely playing on the myriad clichés involved in notions of Englishness and associated nostalgic romance.
